Dr Benjamin Hope

FRACP MBBS Consultant Paediatrician and Gastroenterologist

Dr Benjamin Hope possesses more than two decades of experience as a children’s specialist, and over the past ten years, he has served as a Paediatric Consultant at King’s College Hospital in London. He is also a member of the Neurodisability Team at the NHS Kaleidoscope Children’s Centre in Lewisham.

With a wealth of expertise in treating childhood medical conditions and as a consultant in a prominent teaching hospital collaborates closely with a wide array of specialists, including radiologists, surgeons, psychologists, and dieticians, to deliver first-class care to his patients.

He believes that no matter how much specialist knowledge and expertise a doctor can accumulate, two fundamental questions should hold paramount importance in their practise: ‘What is going wrong for my patient?’ and ‘What can I do to help?’

Holding these questions at the heart of his practise led him to his current studying of anthroposophical medicine with Dr Pablo Jeczmien. Subsequently, he joined the clinic, sharing the ethos of his colleagues: a commitment to a comprehensive and collaborative approach to patient care.

Dr Benjamin Hope brings a contemporary and warm approach to assessing children whose parents, caregivers, teachers, (or even the young person themselves) have noticed they have symptoms suggestive of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). If treatment is needed, he can provide personalised and integrated therapy options, including nutritional adjustments, coaching, medication, or a combination thereof, characteristic of Harley Row Clinic’s integrative three-fold approach.
